Will revert back to buying a new wired X-box controller, which last YEARS, and put this down as a lesson learned. Tried switching the sticks, seemed to have a placebo effect for a while, then the same thing happened.Īlso get an issue where Steam just doesn't recognise the controller until it's been unplugged and plugged back in again a few times, this can occur in the middle of a game also.įeels expensive and solid, nice clicky buttons, but quite a couple of snags for something this price. Sorry I can't relate this to any other game. I know this, because multiple times in a game now, my car double jumps and floats back down to the floor again, when I try and front flip. If you hold the stick in a direction, and press "A" fast enough succession, then it doesn't register the direction input even if you're already holding the stick in the up direction for example. The one tiny thing I will say, is that after a few months intense rocket league gaming, one of the symbols on the buttons has started to wear off.ĮDIT: ok, so after a good 2 months use playing Rocket League, and only Rocket League, from someone who doesn't get that much time to game. I've been playing games since my commodore in the 80s, from joysticks to dual shock 4s I've played with a lot of peripherals and can say that this controller is the best I've used.Įxcellent mechanical clicky buttons, triggers are solid and the variable travel is a really nice option.
